Chinese Water Colour Painting & Calligraphy

Our teacher Qing Lu is a Master candidate at the Weißensee
Kunsthochschule Berlin. Having held several exhibitions during his studies in China and Europe for his incredible talents, he has joined the WEM Academy team to teach our students about the beautiful art of Chinese Water Colour Painting and Calligraphy.

The classes will focus on the following:

First, students will learn how to prepare the tools with an initial ink test.
Secondly, you will learn the basic techniques of pen and ink.
Third, we'll focus on the Four Gentlemen Painting: Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Chrysanthemum.
1. Orchid painting, flower pattern, flower and leaf combination and colouring.
2. Bamboo, bamboo leaf structure, and composition techniques.
3. Chrysanthemum flower structure, leaves and branches, overall combination and colouring.
4. Plum flower, branches and toning.
Fourth, we'll focus on vegetables and animal painting.
Fifth, landscape painting.
Lastly, we'll do an outdoor sketch.

Time: Saturdays 10:30 - 12:00
Tuition: 1.5 hours/week. Drop-in class fee is 20 Euro/time, semester fee is 225 Euro for 15 times.  All painting materials are included!

Class language: Chinese, English, and German.

四，蔬菜与动物画

六，户外写生
